I like the fact you can walk out the door and be in breathtaking scenery in minutes either walking or on a bike. We always like to incorporate a walk which ends up at a pub for a pint or two of Swan Blonde!

What I love about the Lakes:
Climbing on Gimmer Crag in Great Langdale on a crisp sunny spring day, followed by a few pints of Helles Lager in the sunshine. Perfection.

The landscape, not just it’s obvious natural beauty but the fact it is full of the remains of the thousands of years of people living here who have created what we see today.

I love the lake! As a family, we spend hours swimming, playing and paddle boarding on Coniston Water. There's no better feeling of freedom that paddling around in the middle of the lake.

What I love about the Lakes:
It’s the best place in the world to live and work, especially on a sunny day. You can walk out of busy Windermere and within just a few minutes you find yourself on a beautiful fell with nobody around, simply enjoying the stunning countryside.

The area is stunning and there is so much to do. If you want to escape somewhere peaceful and quiet, it's easy to find, but likewise, if you want to be busy and hectic that's an option too.
